: Air Breathing Propulsion

Air breathing course will introduce students to thermodynamic and fluid flow analysis of various air breathing engines and their performance assessments. The course will also dwell on the analysis of various engine components.

COURSE OUTCOME

1.       The student will develop the ability to perform thermodynamic cycle analysis of air breathing engines and assess their capability

2.       Understand configuration of various engines and perform 2d flow analysis through various engine components.

3.      Matching components and performance assessment of engines under different operating conditions.
