Course Objectives:

1.      To teach one dimensional methodology to solve two phase flow and heat transfer problems using mixture models.

2.      To equip students to carry out typical problems in boiling and condensation

Course Outcomes:

1.      The student would be able to do a 1D model of typical real life application

2.      Be able to solve typical two-phase flow problems using mixture models

3.      Be able to size typical two-phase flow systems for given requirements.

4.      Be able to code simple real life two-phase systems for performance prediction
